Report: “SIED TRAVEL - Feel the World with 3D - ” (presented by SIED)

Updated Dec. 11, 2017
Doshisha Clover Festival was held on Kyotanabe campus on November 4th (Sat.) and 5th (Sun.), and SIED hosted "SIED TRAVEL - Feel the World with 3D - " at the International Community Lounge during the festival.
With the cooperation of foreign students from Korea, Indonesia, Philippines, China, France, and Nigeria and of a Kyotanabe CIR (coordinator for international relations) from Canada, we gave presentations that introduced each country’s useful information and sightseeing spots that only locals would know, using 3D images.
During the two days, we welcomed not only Doshisha students but also the local people of Kyotanabe. They enjoyed various activities such as answering quizzes given by the presenters and pretending shopping at local stores with replica money. Through those activities, they learned about the different countries, languages, and their unique cultures and deepen their interest in foreign countries.
SIED organizes various events where you can experience cultures of different countries. We look forward to seeing you all at our events!
