Updated Dec. 19, 2017
SIED hosted “Mr. Fukuyama Tetsuro× SIED The message for the 20’s” at Kyotanabe campus on Friday, Dec 15th. We welcomed Mr. Tetsuro Fukuyama, a member of the House of Councilors, as a guest speaker.
As an alumnus of Doshisha, he talked about his time in college, his career prior to becoming a politician, and his experience as a politician. Unlike Mr. Fukuyama as a fierce politician that we see on the Diet, he had calm and welcoming presence throughout the talk, and the audience was absorbed in his talk. After the presentation, he even approached the audience and took time talking to each of them. We hope that this event became memorable one for all the participants. Thank you, Mr. Fukuyama, for this precious opportunity!
SIED continues to provide various events for all of you; we all look forward to seeing you soon.
