Hello, we’re SIED!
We held “Nara Walking Tour” on May 7th (Sat.). 6 international students and 3 local students participated in this event.
In this event, we walked around Nara park and visit Kohfukuji Temple and Kasugataisha Shrine while enjoying international exchanging!
SIED staff explained how to treat deer in Nara Park, the history of Kohfukuji Temple and Kasugataisha Shrine, and how to visit a shrine. Thanks to that, participants also interacted with deer safely. Kohfukuji Temple and Kasugataisha Shrine we saw have history of more than 1200 years, and they were breathtaking for participants. Nara has different tastes from Kyoto, and we enjoyed them.
We enjoyed taking photos of deer and talking with other participants. International students who joined this event were from various countries, so we had conversations in Japanese, English and Chinese.
All of SIED staff were delighted to see participants enjoyed Nara and international exchanging!
After the event, we got some feedback from participants said: “My favorite SIED event is Nara Walking Tour.”, “I had a really good time!” and “I would like to participate in SIED events again.” This event made us happy!
Thank you for joining us! It was really nice to see you all! We hope to see you again.
SIED will hold many events you can interact internationally and make wonderful encounters under COVID-19 infection prevention. We look forward to your participation♪
