Hello, we are SIED!
We held an event “Kyo-Yuzen Dyeing Workshop” on Wednesday, June 14.
A total of 11 people, including 9 international students and 2 local students, participated in this event.
After a brief ice-break and introduction of Kyo-Yuzen at the International Community Lounge, SIED staff and participants moved to Marumasu Nishimuraya together.
During the transportation, the participants seemed to be enjoying conversation with each other.
Participants chose their favorite ones from more than 3,000 patterns, including flowers, animals, fish, and Japanese patterns, and color it’s in.
The participants looked very serious about their work.
The finished handkerchiefs were colorful and full of individuality.
