Hello! This is SIED. 

On Friday, July 3, we held the “The Star Festival” event at the Amherst Hall, with a total of six participants: five international students and one local student. 

During the event, we made wish strips and bamboo decorations, and everyone worked together to decorate the bamboo.
Using origami paper in various patterns, we created “net decorations” and “star decorations,” resulting in unique creations that showcased each person’s individuality!

Everyone wrote their wishes in English or Japanese on the strips of paper, hung them on the bamboo, and created a beautiful display. It was wonderful to see the participants interacting and teaching each other how to make the decorations, making for a truly meaningful experience.
