Hello, we are SIED!

On October 30th (Wednesday), we held a "Halloween Party" with a total of 18 participants, including 10 international students and 8 local students. During this event, we had a candy party while learning about Halloween. Everyone was dressed in unique costumes, such as rabbits and witches. The participants were surprised to learn that Halloween is celebrated differently in various countries, especially since it has become increasingly popular in Japan every year. Additionally, many local students were astonished to discover that they didn't know much about the history of Halloween.

In the latter part of the event, everyone got Halloween "treats" through a bingo game! When receiving candy from the SIED staff, participants were asked to say "Trick or Treat!" The feedback after the event was positive, with participants expressing joy, saying things like, "I had fun dressing up!" and "I really enjoyed Halloween!"

SIED will continue to plan various international exchange events in the future.
