Spotlights

On June 12, a Chinese Paper Cutting Workshop was held at the International Community Lounge, with a total of 15 participants, including 10 international students and 5 local students. 

The event aimed to promote cultural exchange while introducing participants to the traditional Chinese art of paper-cutting. To begin, participants joined an icebreaker drawing relay game, which helped everyone get to know each other and created a friendly atmosphere. Afterward, participants learned about the history and cultural significance of Chinese paper-cutting before creating their own designs. 

Everyone enjoyed expressing their creativity and successfully made their own unique paper-cutting artwork. Through this activity, participants not only gained a deeper understanding of Chinese culture but also had the opportunity to make new friends and build connections across cultures.
