Report: “Let’s make your own chopsticks rest!” (presented by SIED)

Hello! We are SIED.

On Monday, December 18th, we held SIED event "Let’s make your own chopsticks rest!" at International Community Lounge on Imadegawa Campus, with the participation of a total of 10 students, including 5 international students and 5 local students. During this event, we began with everyone introducing themselves. Following that, as an icebreaker, participants were divided into groups to play a game involving picking up beans with chopsticks. After the icebreaker, each participant chose preferred parts such as flowers and poured resin into the mold for chopstick rests, creating their own original designs! All the chopstick rests created by the participants had unique and wonderful designs. Throughout the event, we could see the smiles of the participants as they crafted their chopstick rests. Even after the event concluded, participants continued to enjoy engaging in conversations. It was heartening for the staff to witness the deepening connections among the participants through the chopstick rest-making activity.
