Hello! This is SIED.


On Tuesday, June 30, we held the "Matcha Experience & Cultural Exchange" event at the International Community Lounge! A total of 15 students joined us: 8 international students and 7 local students. 

During the event, participants deepened their understanding of the spirit and etiquette of the tea ceremony through a presentation and a Bon-ryaku temae demonstration. Afterwards, everyone got to try making their own matcha! After getting to know each other during an icebreaker by sharing their favorite teas, local students kindly guided international students on how to whisk the tea, creating a wonderful opportunity for cultural exchange. Everyone successfully made their tea within the timeframe, and it was wonderful to see participants continuing their lively conversations in the lounge even after the event ended.
