Hello! We are SIED! 

On Wednesday, June 19th, SIED hold an event "Let's learn the heart of Sado!", with a total of 14 participants including 5 international students and 9 local students. 

At this event, participants experienced the Japanese traditional tea ceremony and enjoyed tea with sweets!
First, in International Community Lounge, they had fun learning about the history of tea ceremony and tea through quizzes, then they moved to the Tea Room, where, with the help of the Tea Ceremony Club, they learned how to prepare and drink tea. 

Most of the participants were experiencing the tea ceremony for the first time, they enjoyed tasting tea with the gentle guidance of the Tea Ceremony Club members. Throughout the event, not only did the participants interact with each other, but there was also active communication between the Tea Ceremony Club members and the participants, with some participants showing interest in joining the club. Many participants enjoyed conversations in various languages, which brought joy to the staff.
