Hello, we are SIED, 

 

On December 5th (Fri.), SIED hosted an event, ”Let’s make an Eraser Stamp!” at the International Community Lounge on Imadegawa Campus. 7 international students and 6 local students, 13 students in total, participated in this event.  

At this event, we introduced participants to the Japanese culture of han-ko stamps and after that, participants created their own eraser stamps. The designs were all high quality, with many carvings of their favorite words or characters. Everyone refined their designs by doing several test stamps. Most people happily took their finished pieces home, which made us happy as well! 

We hope all participants had a wonderful experience at our event.  

 

We will host many other international exchange events throughout the year!
