Updated Nov. 21, 2023
Hello, this is SIED!

On Saturday, October 21st, we held an event "Let's go watching Do-Ritsu sen game!"!
On the day of the event, many people attended, including 10 local students and 70 international students!

In this event, we were divided into several groups to watch and cheer the baseball game between Doshisha university and Ritsumeikan university at Wakasa Stadium Kyoto!

At first, those who were unsure about speaking up, but they gradually joined in the cheering as time went by! While watching the game, everyone seemed to be cheering enthusiastically as one, along with the support of the cheerleading club and the cheering squad! The game was full of tension that everyone could not take their eyes off the game until the last half of the 9th inning, and everyone was cheering enthusiastically until the very end!

After the game, the participants communicated with each other beyond the boundaries of their groups, and the joyful atmosphere was impressive.
In the post-event questionnaire, many people commented that they enjoyed talking with international students and that they would like to participate in other events as well.

Whether this was your first time coming to a SIED event or you have attended many times, we thank you very much for your participation!
SIED will continue to hold international exchange events in the future! We hope you will join us!
