SIED event "Let's go to Shokoku-ji Temple!" is coming soon!
In this event, you can visit Shokoku-ji Temple and see national treasures, important cultural properties, and art works like "fusuma painting". Shokoku-ji Temple, which is famous for "zazen", is the main temple of the Shokoku-ji School of the Rinzai Sect and was built in the end of the 14th century. The famous Kinkakuji and Ginkakuji also belong to Shokoku-ji School.
This temple is located right next to Doshisha university on the north side, so why don't you go there? This will be a good opportunity to enjoy the Dharma Hall, Hojo and Kaizando Hall during the special autumn exhibition time.
You also might see the beautiful autumn leaves, so come and enjoy the Japanese autumn while having international exchange with international students and local students.
