SIED will hold “Let’s DIY Chinese Peking Opera face mask!”
Peking Opera (Kyo Geki) is a classical Chinese opera that originated in Beijing about 200 years ago and consists of songs, dialogues, dances, and stand-up routines. It is sometimes compared to Japanese Kabuki.
In this event, we are going to paint face masks used in such traditional Peking Opera. Would you like to learn about traditional Chinese culture while making colorful face masks?
