“Scavenger Hunt,” a welcome event for new international students, was held on Imadegawa and Kyotanabe campus on Wednesday, April 5th. 39 students including 23 international students at Imadegawa and nine students including four international students at Kyotanabe joined the event. The participants were divided into small groups and explored the campus.
They aimed to complete missions sent to them on their smartphones by SIED. Some of the missions included borrowing a book at the Doshisha library, taking a photo of students jumping in front of the Kanbai-kan entrance, and visiting the athletic field. All participants seemed to enjoy the hunt while getting familiar with a campus/ discovering what they did not know about the campus before.
Completing these missions, they cooperated together and enjoyed interacting with one another.
