SIED hosted “Lunch Talk” during lunchtime on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays during the 2017 spring semester at the International Community Lounge on Imadegawa campus.
"Lunch Talk" is a popular event where local and international students socialize over lunch in Japanese, English, Chinese and Korean (the languages differ depending on the days). For the spring semester, more students than ever joined to exchange opinions and thoughts about various topics and shared their own experiences, culture, ideas, and viewpoints, through which they were able to expand their perspectives.
On July 5th, our new staff from Indonesia hosted a special Lunch Talk session “Bahasa Indonesia.” The participants enjoyed learning about the Southeast Asian culture through interesting presentations and delicious tea.
SIED host many interesting intercultural events next semester. We look forward to your future participation!
