SIED held “Let’s Learn Languages of the World!” on the last Tuesdays of each month during the spring semester at the International Community Lounge (Kyotanabe campus) and we welcomed 69 students in total.
This event is to cultures of different countries from international students and to learn to introduce oneself in new languages. We had a Chinese lesson in April, an Arabic lesson in May, a Korean lesson in June, and a French lesson in July.
In the lessons, the students were eager to learn new languages and new cultures from the native speakers. We hope that the event helped the participants expand their circles of friends and deepen their interests toward different cultures.
SIED will host many interesting intercultural events next semester as well. We look forward to your future participation!
