From July 24th (Mon.) to 29th (Sat.), SIED held “Touch Asia Gourmet Fair” in collaboration with Doshisha CO-OP.
Upon hosting the fair, SIED asked international students at Doshisha to submit cuisine from their home country that they want to recommend to the rest of the Doshisha students. Among a number of submissions, Thai Massaman Curry Chicken, Singaporean Chicken Rice, and Malaysian Ice Kachang were chosen to be served at cafeterias on both campuses.
Many enjoyed the authentic flavors of the Southeast Asia on campus; in the six days, we were able to serve the total of 3,140 meals.

SIED will host many interesting intercultural events next semester as well. We look forward to your future participation!
