Imadegawa SIED hosted “Scavenger Hunt,” a welcome event for new international students on Wednesday, November 27th and 33 students including 25 international students from 10 countries joined the event. Some joined the event continuously from our preceding event, "Open Lounge."
The participants were divided into small groups and explored the Imadegawa campus. They aimed to complete missions sent by SIED staff via messaging app, LINE. Some of the missions included taking a tour of the Harris Science Hall Doshisha Gallery and asking a Doshisha student which nearby restaurant they recommend.
Though it was drizzling during the event, all participants seemed to enjoy the game while getting familiar with a campus/ discovering what they did not know about the campus before. Completing these missions, they cooperated together and enjoyed interacting with one another.
SIED is preparing various events for this semester. We look forward to your participation!
