SIED hosted “Game Day” on September 27th (Wed.) at the International Community Lounge on Kyotanabe campus and 11 students including three international students joined the event.
In this event, we prepared four mini games played in English such as “Who’s Next to You?” to help remember the others’ names, “People Bingo” where one gets bingo by finding people who fits various descriptions written in squares, “Marshmallow Challenge,” a competition to build a tallest tower using unique materials, and so on.
The participants cooperated with their group members and had fun playing the games. Several students remained in the lounge even after the events to chat with each other and exchange their contact information. We hope that the event provided an opportunity for students to expand their social circle.
SIED will host various intercultural events throughout the semester, and we look forward to seeing more of you!
