On October 11th (Wed.), SIED hosted “Cross Cultural Trip America -The campus life in American college -” at the International Community Lounge on Kyotanabe campus and four students including one international student joined the event.
We invited Mr. Levi Lee (the Amherst Fellow) as a guest speaker to talk about Amherst College and campus life at Amherst.
Mr. Lee first introduced the basic information of the college. American colleges has many facilities that Japanese ones do not have such as buffet-style cafeterias and department-specific libraries. He went on to showing the participants photos of the university festivals and the dormitories that house the majority of the Amherst students.
Throughout the presentation, the participants were amazed by different campus life that Amherst students have and asked many questions.
