On November 8th (Wed.), SIED hosted “Movie Watch” at the International Community Lounge on Kyotanabe campus.
For this event, we watched one of the beloved movies, “Roman Holiday” in English. The lounge was transformed in a movie theater overseas with the English movie playing. After watching the part of the movie, we discussed three topics regarding the movie. Through the discussion, we were able to learn not only about the Roman culture but also about the cultures of different countries. It was interesting to see how differently we think about the topics even though it was the same movie we watched.
