SIED hosted “Let’s Design Christmas & New Year’s Card!" on Wednesday, December 20th at the International Community Lounge on Kyotanabe campus, and 11 students including seven international students took part in the event.
For the event, various kinds of material such as masking tapes of different colors and designs, stickers, pens, and stamps were prepared to design and decorate holiday cards. The participants decorated their cards as they liked while enjoying chatting with one another. Each participants ended up with a nice card that reflected their taste and different holiday cultures. Some of them exchanged their cards on the spot, and the others sent their professors and families back home what they made. They all spent a very pleasant time in a festive atmosphere.
We hope that it was a good opportunity for the participants to start off this holiday season while appreciating different cultures. We look forward to seeing you in our future events!
