Report: “SIED Factory” (presented by SIED)

Updated Nov. 12, 2018
At Clover Festival in Kyotanabe Campus, on November 3rd and 4th, SIED event “SIED Factory” was held at Kyotanabe Intercultural Community Lounge.
At this event, international students from South Korea, Singapore, Kenya, France, Hong Kong, Thailand and Kyotanabe CIR from Canada introduced their countries. After listening the presentation such as about tourist information, famous food or difference from Japanese culture, participants made their own original key chain with international students.A lot of residents of Kyotanabe, especially children and their parents and teenagers, came to our event. It was precious for them to interact with international students, they seemed to feel close to intercultural exchange. We hope that the original key chain reminds the participants of our event even after they go back home.
Some participants gave us the comments below.
“ SIED staff was nice to us. I enjoyed the event!” “This year is my fourth time here. Every year, I am appreciate that I can learn so much about various countries, and I can make works as well here. I expect it would be worth next year.” “It made me want to go abroad. The quiz was fun.”
Thank you to everyone who visited us. We hope that our event was a good opportunity to know the different culture and experience intercultural exchange.
We will hold many interesting events. We look forward to seeing you all next year again!
