SIED hosted “Lunch Talk” during lunchtime on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays during the 2018 spring and fall semester at the International Community Lounge on Imadegawa campus.
“Lunch Talk” is one of our most popular events where students talk in four languages-English, Korean, Chinese and Japanese- or talk about cultures and customs of the countries in which these languages are spoken. As a place for casual intercultural exchange, both local and international students actively participated in the event.
In the spring semester, we held a special event of “Lunch Talk”, “The Secret of Tapioca Milk Tea”. In this event, SIED staff from Taiwan gave us a presentation about the history of bubble tea and made us Taiwanese bubble tea.
SIED will host “Lunch Talk” in the next semester again. We look forward to your future participation!
