On May 8th, Wednesday, SIED hosted the event “Cross Cultural Trip America ~Daily Life of American College Students~” at the International Community Lounge on Kyotanabe Campus.
During this event, Antonella Dominguez (the 58th Amherst Fellow) from New York, presented her campus life at Amherst College and difference between Japanese universities and American’s one. She composed the presentation with easy English, some Japanese words and many pictures consideration for local students, so even those who are not good at English could understand her presentation. At the end of the event, participants asked Antonella a lot of questions especially about studying abroad in U.S.
Any other who has interest in US or wants to talk in English, please come to her office hour. It is on 3rd period of every Wednesday at Intercultural Community Lounge of Kyotanabe campus.
