From September 24th to 26th, SIED hosted a welcome event for new international students, “Open Lounge” at the International Community Lounge on both campuses. In the three days, 107 students (including 71 international students) joined the event.
Not only new international students but also many local students participated in the event. The participants enjoyed conversation while eating snacks or playing some games. We suppose it was a good opportunity to deepen exchanges between local and international students.
SIED is planning many events that local students and international students can communicate one another. We are going to provide a lot of fun events in this semester, so feel free to join us!
