SIED event, “Let’s Become Friends with International Exchange Students!” was held at lunchtime on October 17th, 24th, 31st at International Community Lounge on Imadegawa campus. We invited a lot of exchange students, and 1-2 of them gave as a presentation about their university.
We set main area for each week: Students from Asian university on 17th, Europe and Oceania area on 24th, and Africa and America area on 31st. In three weeks total, about 100 students including exchange students participated in the event, and International Community Lounge was filled with local students and international students. Participants actively communicated with one another. A local student said “I became a friend with an exchange student who is from a university where I am planning to go!” We hope that both local and exchange students made good relationships through the event.
