On November 16th, SIED held “Kyoto Walking Tour –Kinukakeno-michi-road-”. Although the event was postponed due to the typhoon once, we were able to hold the event under the best autumn leaf season in Kyoto. Thanks to the nice weather, all the participants and staff enjoyed the beautiful scenery. At the event, Participants were divided into two groups and walked in and around famous temples including Ryoan-ji temple or Ninna-ji temple, one of the world heritages in Japan. During the event, some enjoyed learning Japanese histories and cultures, and others tasted Japanese tea at a café. It was a great time to feel autumn in the air in Kyoto.
As Kinugasa area in Kyoto has a lot of historical shrines and temples, why don’t you go to the area once?
SIED will host a lot of intercultural events like this. If you are interested in, please apply and enjoy with us! We all look forward to your participation.
