Registration Schedule of Japanese Language and Culture subjects for 2020 Spring Semester(Closest deadline:Mar.27 17:00)

To take these subjects, you need to take an exam, apply and registrate.

Confirming your Student ID Number

If you access the following website and enter your application number (12 digits), you can confirm your "Student ID Number" even before you obtain your "Student ID Card". Student ID Numbers and Cards are required for all university situations.If you can, we recommend that you check in advance.

Regarding Orientation for Newly-enrolled International

We are writing to inform you that we have made changes to the orientation for new international students due to the impact of coronavirus disease (COVID-19).
Please read the revised "Newly-enrolled international students in the academic year 2020 (Spring semester) Schedule of orientation and other event” regarding scheduling of Japanese language placement test and other event. (We will inform you of updates on our website in few days.)

    • Come during the designated period to pick up the explanatory documents.
We strongly recommend downloading the documents to reduce the risk of infection and for your safety.【Update Mar.17】

Important

In the explanatory documents there is important information about becoming international student at Doshisha University, such as how to complete the paperwork necessary to start your life in Japan and how to apply for health insurance subsidies. Very important information is in these documents so you must pick them up from us.
However, if you have a fever, cough, difficulty breathing, or other symptoms, you should stay home. If you are unable to pick up the documents for this reason, please read the notification below on "Students who are unable to enter Japan or come to the university by March 25"
