Report: “Let's make a dream catcher!” (presented by SIED)

During lunch time on November 24th (Thu), we held an international student office event: "Let's make a dream catcher!" At the beginning of the event, first of all, SIED staff explained that it is a traditional decoration of Native peoples of North Americans. And learned that it is for protects children from nightmares, and the mesh catches nightmares and only good dreams are carried. After learning about the meaning of the Dream catcher, participants chosen the material such as yarn and feather decorations of their favorite color and made only one dream catcher in the world. At very beginning, some people were confused by unfamiliar work, but with participants teaching each other how to make them while working, and to became a lively event.
Thank you to everyone who participated in this event, and SIED will produce a lot of intercultural events which you want to join. We're looking forward to seeing you at other events!
